WABASHA, Minn. — Authorities in southeastern Minnesota say three men were injured after a chairlift carrying them to the top of a ski slope came loose and fell about 30 feet to the ground.
The accident happened Saturday afternoon at the Coffee Mill Ski and Snowboard Resort in Wabasha.
Wabasha police said all three men were found conscious. A Minneapolis Star Tribune report said one man was airlifted to a hospital with a back injury.
Police said the resort remained open, but the chairlift was closed and being inspected.
